Just found out, March 9, that Dreams of Life received one of Margy Dudley’s three honorable mentions in the show! Thank you, Margy.

Break it Up, from the Paths That Cross series, has been selected for inclusion in the 6th Open Call by the RI Center for Photographic Arts.

The show runs 2/21- 3/15 with the opening reception 2/21/19.

Thank you Aline Smithson for including me in the exhibition.

Into My Arms

Into My Arms, the transition piece from the Paths That Cross series to an as yet new, untitled series for the coming year. Tatum once again graced the studio for the inaugural image, a lighter palette, subtle textures, minimal props, leaving the mind to wander several directions.

Beneath the Southern Cross

Tatum was back for another session in Paths That Cross, for Beneath the Southern Cross, above, and Lo and Behold, below. A few more shots are planned with Tatum and Brittani returns shortly for her next chapter in the story before our preview show in May, to coincide with Artisphere.

Newest in Paths that Cross Series

A couple of weeks ago I invited local model Hannah to come by and create some images for Paths that Cross. This is only a sampling of what we accomplished that first day, still untitled.  She has since been back for another shoot and so far it looks promising, too.

Erica’s Visit

Erica Jay recently ventured south to help me add some more images to Paths That Cross. Being at the mercy of Delta Airlines, what should have been a few days of leisurely shooting turned into one marathon day, but what a day!

Working with Erica, I always leave with much more than hoped, we filled in some blank spots in the project and took it to some new directions. And Erica is pure joy to work with, though you can’t really call it work.

A very successful day and can’t wait for another.
