We’re open! The SE center opened last week in Greenville with an invitational show, Best of the Upstate, featuring the work of Bryan Hiott, Sandy King, Ben Nixon and Sam Wang, running until September.
Black, White, and Everything in Between, juried by Verve Gallery director and photographer Jennifer Schlesinger, features images selected from submittals from around the world, opens September 4.
We’re currently putting together our workshop schedule for the fall and next year. Let us know if there is something specific you’d like to see or are a workshop leader who would like to participate.
We’re almost there! It looks like we’ll make the scheduled opening Friday, August 7. Just finishing touches and light installation and we’ll be ready to go Friday.
The SE Center for Photography is an exhibition and education venue promoting the art and enjoyment of fine photography.
Through monthly juried exhibitions, local, national and international photographers of all skill levels have the opportunity to have their work presented and enjoyed by collectors, curators, enthusiasts, interior designers, and colleagues. In addition, exceptional photographers will be invited to participate in solo or group shows.
Our workshop and class schedule cover all aspects of photography and challenges, encourages and inspires the photographer in all of us.

A couple more from my first shoot with Erica, there will be more:
